Business Mixed with Pleasure......

We had our annual Junior Auxiliary Provisional Social tonight! It was beautiful. The new girls, "Provisional" are a wonderful and talented group. They are so excited to be a part of our sisterhood. We are so blessed to have them as part of our family. Natalie M. is the provisional leader this year and she is going to do a fabulous job. I also want to comment on our President, Susan B., she is doing an amazing job. She has made our meetings informative, fun, and she is such a great leader. She is encouraging us to set our goals higher, while honoring ourselves and others we come in contact with. She truly wants our member to achieve their personal best, as we go into the community and make a difference. We love you Susan, and appreciate your hard work and leadership. Keep those great ideas coming!!!!
We have several things coming up. Only two more weeks until our annual "Coats for the Community" this is such a worthwhile event. We provide a coat for those who are in need of one. It truly touches your heart to see a child's eyes light up and know that their little bodies will be warmed by our efforts. I challenge you to search your closets and find those coats that need a home and find someone who can appreciate it. I promise it will make you feel as good as the recipient. We are also working on the Christmas in Park downtown. Something new this year will be the Lollipop Shop (more to come on this later). We are also working on a float for the Christmas Parade.
This is where I need your help and input. Susan, Natalie and I were talking about doing a blog. A "Junior Auxiliary of McMinnville" Blog. What do you think, I think our associate members and life members would love this. We could post upcoming events and let you know what is going on with JA. Please post and let us know what your thoughts are on this. Especially if you are reading and you are active, associate, life member. We are trying to find ways to keep you informed and get the message out about JA and what we are doing in the community.
I hope you enjoy the pictures of our night.

I think a JA blog would be a great idea! All of us old members would love to know what's going on. Once you leave, it's almost like you have been forgotten. The only thing that keeps you in contact is "The Crownlet".

I knew that Susan would do a great job. Being president can be very stressful.

Keep up the great work!

I miss you all so much! I miss the work and time together. It is crazy how fast my five years flew by. I think a blog is a fabulous idea. The associate and life members can see all of the work you all are doing. I think Susan is a great "leader of the pack". Keep it up - You all are helping so many. :)

Isn't it wonderful to be surrounded by "sisters" ~ those who have the same values, etc. as you do?! I'm so happy you have this.

Hugs!

I also think that a JA blog would be wonderful. I would love to know what is going on and if there is anything that I can do to help. I wish you all the best this year. I miss you all! Could you please post a list of provisionals?

I love the idea. It would allow for us "old" members to stay in touch. Also, I think it could be a great way to have "old" members help out and get involved. Great thinking & I will post soon. We have had a lot of crazy stuff going on. Take care!
