Sunday a Day for Worship

I can't imagine not attending worship service on Sundays! As we all know there are many people who stay home for whatever reason they chose.
I need my church family and I look forward to our sermon and the strength that it gives me to get through until Wednesday night and I come again to recharge my batteries. I attend most of all to Worship God and give him thanks and show my appreciation for the sacrifice he made to save me from my sins. I pray for strength to live this life outside of the church in my daily walk with God.
I just don't know what life would be like with out God..................................................................lost is what comes to mind.
Have a blessed Sunday.

I didn't go to church today which is very unusual for me. I love love love my church and my minister and his family. He wasn't gonna be there today so I decided to stay home. I worshipped outside on my knees working in the yard, praying and humming spirtual songs. God was with me, this I know.

Hugs!

Shelia,
Thanks for the wonderful comment you left me. You are so right. I have ALWAYS lived for everyone else in my life. I tried to please my mom and stepdad as a child and I tried to please my husband and children as an adult. I ofeten forgot about me. I believe now is the time I need to live for me a little. I will always be the nurturing person that I am, but I am going to think of myself a little more and try to do what makes ME happy. I don't want to always sound so negative in my posts. I hope it doesn't come across as that. For every bad thing that happens, there is usually 3 great things that happen, also. David and I are communicating better than we have in a very long time. I hope to always have this openess for the boys. This has been a learning experience. I now know what I am willing to "put up" with and I will not waste another day being unhappy. He and I are both happy now and I believe that makes us better parents. Pray that we will do what is best for the boys and only bring out the best in each other from this point on.

Amen! I am with you. I get my strength from service. I love when the preacher lays it out on the line. I am blessed to have the church family that we do. :) Awesome post Sheila. You are such a fine example to others.
